Airport

Descending into Bermuda feels different from the moment you look out the window and see the island come into view—bright turquoise water, scattered reefs and that unmistakable pink sand. L.F. Wade International Airport is the island's only airport and is located in St. George's, on the eastern side of the island. It's surprisingly easy to get to, with regular direct flights from cities across the U.S., Canada, and the UK. One flight, a few hours and you're here!

The airport itself is new and easy to navigate, with no long treks between terminals or confusing transfers. Here's how the arrival process works:
  • After landing, you'll walk off the plane and into the airport, then take the escalator downstairs.
  • There's a bathroom at the bottom of the escalator before Immigration if you need it.
  • Join the Visitors line in the Immigration Hall.
  • Once through Immigration, you can browse Duty Free while you wait for your bags at the carousel.
  • After collecting your bags, continue through Customs and into the arrivals hall.
  • If you've pre-arranged transportation, your driver will be waiting inside the arrivals hall.
  • Or step outside to the taxi stand right in front, with easy rides to your hotel, Airbnb or straight to the beach.
