Clarence Cove Beach

snorkelingfamily friendly

Description

Near Hamilton but much more hidden-feeling than most visitors expect, Clarence Cove is a small North Shore cove at Admiralty Park that offers cliffs, caves and clear water. The beach is small and sheltered, making it a great choice for families, although there's not much room for sunbathing down on the sand. There is, however, a grassy area behind the beach that is great for picnics.

If you bring your snorkel gear, you can swim around the pier and along the rocks. This is a favorite for locals who enjoy fishing off the pier and jumping off the cliffs.

You can reach Clarence Cove by taking a bus or taxi to Admiralty House and walking down the hill, toward the water.
