St. Catherine's Beach

St. Catherine’s is a classic East End beauty spot with soft sand, bright water and one of the most impressive beach settings on the island. The fort backdrop gives it a grander look than most beaches, swimming is usually easy in settled weather and light snorkeling can be good around the rocky edges.

Taxi is easiest unless you are already exploring the East End, and many visitors combine it with the fort rather than treating it as a stand-alone beach day.
